  • Select a business type – There are two main types of businesses you can form in Netherlands. The unincorporated business structure is where you and your business are liable for the business. The other form is the incorporated business structure, where you and your private assets are protected. These are:

    • Association (vereniging).
  • Register the business at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel) (KvK) – Your details will be entered into the Dutch Trade Register
  • Register the business with the local municipality.
